You buy this PC because you need a 1lb Windows ready computer with Cellular, WiFi and Bluetooth.
It is designed to fit inside the front pouch of your golf bag so you can obtain reliable S&P quotes between putts and adjust your positions accordingly.
Copared to Asus Netbooks and other sub $500 systems, the OQO is more like a Maserati compared to the Pontiac Sunfire.
This PC is barely twice the width of a Blackberry and only as tall as a credit card and as thick as two stacked AA batteries.

The OQO isn't designed to replace a primary use laptop but it can provide all of the same features of your primary notebook.
It was designed by IBM ThinkPad engineers and the outer matte finish and peg mouse is a reminder of its roots.
OqO offers a Damage Protection Warranty and it is a worth investment (SEE USER PICS) especially because OQO doesn't offer a singularly effective case and third party cases are slim since the OQO isn't widely sold enough to justify Targus or CaseLogic to stencil an stitch up an inventory of poly / impact resistant cases.
